Instructions

- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped caramel candies.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough and flatten them slightly. Place a caramel candy piece in the center and fold the dough around it, sealing it well to prevent leaks.
- Arrange the stuffed cookies on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Sprinkle sea salt over the cookies immediately after removing them from the oven.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
