  • Author: Jessica

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken tenders
  • 810 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1/3 cup (70g) brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Toothpicks (optional, for securing bacon)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to ensure the seasoning adheres well.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Rub each chicken tender with the brown sugar mixture, coating evenly on all sides.
  5. Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped tenders on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove from the oven, discard toothpicks, and serve hot.
