Easy Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole Recipe

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Seal any perforations to form a solid layer.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it on top of the cream cheese layer, sealing any seams.
  6. Brush the top layer of dough with melted butter. Sprinkle the optional cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the top for added sweetness and texture.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are set.
  8. Let the casserole cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing into squares and serving.
