Easy Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken Recipe For Dinner

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish, and pour the marinade over the chicken, making sure it is well coated.
  4. Let the chicken marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for deeper flavor.
  5. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet or in a baking dish.
  6. Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Brush with extra marinade halfway through for more flavor.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
