- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water, then pat dry with paper towels. This helps the marinade and seasoning adhere better.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
- Coat the chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring each one is fully covered. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Place the marinated chicken breasts on the sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Once done, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist and tender.
