  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken breasts under cold water, then pat dry with paper towels. This helps the marinade and seasoning adhere better.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, honey, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  4. Coat the chicken breasts in the marinade, ensuring each one is fully covered. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Place the marinated chicken breasts on the sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Once done, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist and tender.
