Creamy Ranch Chicken: An Easy 30-Minute Dinner

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sear the chicken in the skillet for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine and let simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the creamy ranch sauce. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
