Instructions
- Melt the white chocolate:
- Microwave Method: Break the white chocolate into small, even pieces. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted and smooth.
- Double Boiler Method: Fill a saucepan with a few inches of water and bring to a simmer. Place a heat-safe bowl with the chocolate pieces over the simmering water, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Dip the Oreos:
- Use a fork or dipping tool to dip each Oreo cookie into the melted white chocolate. Tap the fork to remove any excess chocolate and ensure an even coat.
- Decorate the Oreos:
- While the chocolate is still wet, dip the cookies into red and green sanding sugar, crushed peppermint candies, or sprinkles for festive touches.
- For a Christmas tree design, pipe green icing in the shape of a tree and decorate with small candy “ornaments” and a white “star” on top.
- Let the Oreos set:
- Place the decorated Oreos on a sheet of parchment paper to allow the chocolate to harden. You can speed up the process by placing them in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy:
