Easy Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath for the Holidays

  • Author: Jessica

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 wheel of brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until cranberries soften and the mixture thickens. Set aside to cool.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, overlapping slightly to form a wreath shape.
  4. Spoon the cranberry mixture onto the dough, leaving a small border around the center. Place brie cubes on top of the cranberries.
  5. Fold the pointed edges of the dough over the filling and tuck them under the base to secure the wreath.
  6. Brush the dough with melted butter and egg wash.
  7. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown and the brie is bubbly.
  8. Let the wreath cool for 5-10 minutes before garnishing with fresh rosemary or thyme. Serve warm.
