- 1 pound fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over the green beans. If desired, add lemon zest for a burst of brightness.
- Roast for 18-20 minutes, flipping the green beans halfway through, until they are tender and the Parmesan is golden and crispy.
