Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (114g) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup (80g) honey
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) heavy cream (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon oil for cooking
  • Additional spices like garlic powder or paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Bites: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices like garlic powder or paprika.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken in a single layer and cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Prepare the Honey Butter Sauce: In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add honey and stir until smooth. If desired, add heavy cream for extra richness.
  4. Combine Chicken and Sauce: Once the chicken is cooked, pour the honey butter sauce over the chicken. Stir to coat evenly and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve: Garnish with extra black pepper or fresh herbs if desired. Serve with rice, salad, or as an appetizer.
