Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini recommended)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley or extra shredded cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with a pinch of salt and black pepper until browned (6-8 minutes). Drain any excess fat and set aside.
- Fry the Bacon: In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy (5-7 minutes). Remove and crumble the bacon, reserving about 1 tablespoon of drippings in the skillet.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce the skillet’s heat to medium-low. Add the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and the reserved bacon drippings. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth (4-5 minutes).
- Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked pasta, ground beef, and crumbled bacon to the skillet. Toss until the pasta is fully coated in the Alfredo sauce. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve: Plate the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley or additional shredded cheddar cheese, if desired. Serve immediately while warm and creamy.
