Irresistible Oreo Balls: The Ultimate No-Bake Dessert

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white chocolate)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzled chocolate for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, place them in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until it forms a smooth, uniform dough.
  3. Scoop small portions of the mixture (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll them into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until firm.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Use a fork to lift the balls out, letting the excess chocolate drip off.
  7. Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined sheet and add sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzled chocolate on top if desired.
  8. Chill the coated Oreo balls in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
