Ingredients
Scale
- 24 Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white chocolate)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- Sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzled chocolate for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, place them in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until it forms a smooth, uniform dough.
- Scoop small portions of the mixture (about 1 inch in diameter) and roll them into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until firm.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Use a fork to lift the balls out, letting the excess chocolate drip off.
- Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined sheet and add sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzled chocolate on top if desired.
- Chill the coated Oreo balls in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
