  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the green beans out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over the green beans. If desired, add lemon zest for a burst of brightness.
  5. Roast for 18-20 minutes, flipping the green beans halfway through, until they are tender and the Parmesan is golden and crispy.
