Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Hot sauce (optional), to taste
- Finely chopped jalapeño (optional), to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or serving bowl.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, and cook minced garlic and diced onions until they’re fragrant and translucent.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until pink and cooked through, then remove them from the heat. Chop the shrimp into smaller pieces.
- In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, dried thyme, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the chopped shrimp, leaving a few aside for topping later.
- Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and top with the reserved shrimp and garnish with parsley or chopped green onions.
- Serve warm with your favorite dippers, such as crackers, pita chips, or veggie sticks.
