Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies Recipe

  • Author: Jessica

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until a dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. While the cookies are baking, prepare a plate with powdered sugar. Once the cookies are done, let them cool slightly and roll them in powdered sugar while still warm.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack, then roll them again in powdered sugar for an extra-snowy effect.
