Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- While the cookies are baking, prepare a plate with powdered sugar. Once the cookies are done, let them cool slightly and roll them in powdered sugar while still warm.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack, then roll them again in powdered sugar for an extra-snowy effect.
