Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (for coating)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, vanilla extract, flour, and salt. Mix until a smooth and pliable dough forms.
  3. Shape the Snowballs: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop the dough and roll it into small balls between your palms. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  4. Bake: Bake the snowballs for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Avoid overbaking to keep them soft.
  5. Cool: Let the snowballs cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Coat the Snowballs: Once cooled, roll each snowball in shredded coconut or powdered sugar for a festive and snowy appearance.
