Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds ground beef (80/20 for best flavor and moisture)
- 4 strips thick-cut bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are evenly incorporated, taking care not to overwork the meat mixture.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a lined baking sheet. Gently press to form an even shape.
- Place the loaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Remove the meatloaf from the oven and allow it to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes or a green salad. Enjoy!
