Lemon Brownie Base:

Instructions
- Prepare the Baking Dish:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix the Ingredients:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients:
- Gradually add flour and baking powder to the wet mixture.
- Stir gently until combined. Do not overmix to keep the brownies light.
- Bake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the dish for a chewy texture.
- Serve:
- Slice into squares and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve and enjoy!
