- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Set Up the Breading Station:
- Place the flour in one bowl.
- In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Shrimp:
- Dip each shrimp in the flour, ensuring it’s lightly coated.
- Next, dip the shrimp into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off.
- Finally, coat the shrimp in the panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the Shrimp:
- Place the coated shrimp on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out so they cook evenly.
- Bake:
- Bake the shrimp in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even browning.
- The shrimp should be golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, like cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, or garlic aioli.
