  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet:
    • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Set Up the Breading Station:
    • Place the flour in one bowl.
    • In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
    • In a third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the Shrimp:
    • Dip each shrimp in the flour, ensuring it’s lightly coated.
    • Next, dip the shrimp into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off.
    • Finally, coat the shrimp in the panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs.
  4. Arrange the Shrimp:
    • Place the coated shrimp on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out so they cook evenly.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake the shrimp in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even browning.
    • The shrimp should be golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, like cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, or garlic aioli.
