Ingredients

List of Ingredients with Measurements

Here is the complete list of the few simple ingredients needed for this Easy Strawberry Lemonade Freezer Pie:

  • Frozen Sweetened Sliced Strawberries, thawed (with juices): 1 container (23.2 ounces, yielding about 2 1/2 cups thawed)
  • Instant Lemon Pudding Mix: 1 package (3.4 ounces) – use the dry mix
  • Frozen Whipped Topping (like Cool Whip), thawed: 1 carton (8 ounces)
  • Graham Cracker Crust (pre-made): 1 (9 inches)

Optional Garnishes:

  • Additional Whipped Topping, thawed
  • Fresh Strawberries, sliced

Instructions

Let’s whip up this incredibly Easy Strawberry Lemonade Freezer Pie! It seriously only takes a few minutes of active prep time.

First, open your container of thawed frozen sweetened strawberries. Pour the berries and all their juices into a large bowl.

Sprinkle the dry instant lemon pudding mix directly over the strawberries and their juice in the bowl. Stir them together gently but thoroughly until the pudding mix is well combined with the fruit and juices.

Let this mixture stand for about 5 minutes. You’ll notice it starting to thicken slightly as the pudding mix begins to absorb the liquid – this is exactly what you want!

Now, add the entire carton of thawed frozen whipped topping to the bowl with the strawberry-pudding mixture. Using a large spoon or rubber spatula, gently fold the whipped topping into the fruit mixture. Continue folding just until everything is evenly combined and no major streaks remain – try not to stir vigorously, as you want to keep the whipped topping light and airy.

Spoon or pour this lovely pink mixture into the pre-made graham cracker crust. Spread it evenly using your spatula or the back of the spoon.

That’s it for assembly! Carefully place the pie into your freezer. Ensure it’s sitting flat and level.

Freeze the pie for at least 8 hours, or preferably overnight, until it is completely firm and frozen solid through the center.

Before serving, remove the pie from the freezer and let it stand at room temperature for about 5 to 10 minutes. This makes slicing much easier.

If desired, garnish the pie with dollops or swirls of additional whipped topping and arrange fresh strawberry slices on top. Slice into wedges using a sturdy knife (dipping it briefly in hot water can help make clean cuts) and serve immediately. Enjoy your super easy, refreshing treat!
