Ingredients
For the Air Fryer Ribeye Steak:

1 pound ribeye steak, about 1½ inches thick, at room temperature

½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 390°F for 5 minutes. This ensures the steak gets that immediate sear when it hits the basket.
Pat the ribeye dry with paper towels. Generously season both sides of the steak with kosher salt and black pepper.
Place the steak in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure it’s not overlapping or squished to allow for even air circulation.
Cook the steak at 390°F for 6 minutes. Carefully flip the steak using tongs, then cook for another 6 minutes for a perfect medium-rare.
Once cooked, immediately transfer the steak to a plate. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
Top with a pat of butter or your favorite steak sauce if desired before slicing and serving.
