When you’re in the mood for something comforting, quick, and cheesy, these Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps hit the spot every single time.


Ingredients

Main Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
¼ cup cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
4 large tortillas
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

Step 1: Sauté the Garlic

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat

  2. Add 3 cloves minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant

  3. Stir continuously to avoid burning the garlic, which can turn bitter

Step 2: Heat the Chicken
4. Add the 2 cups cooked chicken to the skillet
5. Season with 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper
6. Stir well to coat the chicken and heat through for 3–5 minutes
7. Remove from heat and set aside

Step 3: Mix the Cheeses
8. In a medium bowl, combine ¼ cup softened cream cheese, ¼ cup sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese (¾ cup)
9. Mix until smooth and fully blended
10. Tip: Make sure the cream cheese is soft — room temperature makes this much easier

Step 4: Combine Chicken and Cheese Mixture
11. Transfer the warm chicken into the bowl with the cheese mixture
12. Stir until everything is evenly coated and creamy
13. Taste and adjust seasoning with a bit more salt and pepper if needed

Step 5: Assemble the Wraps
14. Lay out 4 large tortillas on a clean surface
15. Divide the filling evenly among them, placing it in the center of each tortilla
16. Top each with the remaining shredded cheese
17. Fold the sides in, then roll tightly into wraps

Step 6: Cook the Wraps
18. Wipe out the skillet and place over medium heat
19. Place the wraps seam-side down in the skillet
20. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until golden brown and crisp
21. Remove from the skillet and slice in half

Step 7: Serve
22. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired
23. Serve hot with a dipping sauce like ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara
