Description
When I first came up with the idea for a Ground Beef Burrito Bowl, I was craving something hearty, flavorful, and easy to throw together. I needed a meal that could satisfy my hunger while still giving me the flexibility to customize every bite
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 teaspoons taco seasoning
2 cups cooked rice
1 cup black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup corn kernels, fresh or frozen
For Garnish
Salsa
Guacamole
Chopped cilantro
Shredded cheese
Instructions
Step 1: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks
Step 2: Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef and stir to coat evenly, adding a splash of water if needed to help the seasoning distribute
Step 3: Simmer the beef for a few minutes until the seasoning thickens slightly and the beef is richly flavored
Step 4: While the beef cooks, warm the cooked rice and prepare the black beans and corn, heating them slightly if desired
Step 5: To assemble the bowls, start by layering a generous scoop of rice at the bottom of each serving bowl
Step 6: Add a portion of seasoned ground beef on top of the rice, followed by black beans and corn
Step 7: Top the bowls with your favorite garnishes such as salsa, guacamole, shredded cheese, and chopped cilantro
Step 8: Serve immediately and enjoy every flavorful bite
