Description

This Maple Pecan Cottage Cheese Mousse was born from a craving for something cozy, creamy, and just sweet enough to feel indulgent without being over the top


Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cottage cheese
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Whipped cream and extra pecans for garnish


Instructions

To Prepare the Mousse
Step 1: Add the cottage cheese, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a blender or food processor
Step 2: Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth and creamy
Step 3: Scrape down the sides to ensure everything is fully incorporated
Step 4: Taste and adjust sweetness or vanilla if needed

To Add Crunch and Assemble
Step 5: Stir in the chopped pecans by hand to maintain their texture
Step 6: Spoon the mousse evenly into four small serving glasses or ramekins
Step 7: Smooth the tops and cover with plastic wrap
Step 8: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour

 

To Serve
Step 9: Top each mousse with a swirl of whipped cream and a few extra chopped or whole pecans
Step 10: Serve chilled and enjoy the creamy, nutty, maple-sweet goodness
Step 11: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 3 days
