Description

I never thought I’d be making salmon in a slow cooker—but let me tell you, it completely changed the game for me. This Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon is one of those recipes that feels gourmet, but couldn’t be easier to prepare

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
¼ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.

The glaze should be smooth and fragrant, with flecks of garlic and ginger throughout.

Step 2: Prep the Slow Cooker
Place the salmon fillets in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.

Pour the honey garlic mixture over the fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Use a spoon to gently distribute the sauce if needed.

Step 3: Cook Low and Slow
Cover and cook the salmon on low for 2–3 hours, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Cooking time may vary slightly based on the thickness of your fillets and the exact temperature of your slow cooker.

Step 4: Finish and Garnish
Carefully remove the salmon from the slow cooker using a wide spatula or tongs.

Place the fillets on plates or a serving dish and spoon a little extra glaze over the top.

Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for a burst of color and texture.

Serve warm with steamed rice, sautéed greens, or a crisp cucumber salad.
