Description

When I first made this Strawberry Cottage Cheese Mousse, I was looking for a dessert that was light, creamy, and bursting with fresh fruit flavor

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cottage cheese
1 cup fresh strawberries (washed and hulled)
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fresh strawberries and mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Add the cottage cheese, strawberries, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a high-powered blender or food processor
Step 2: Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until completely smooth and creamy
Step 3: Scrape down the sides of the blender with a spatula to ensure everything is well blended
Step 4: Taste and adjust sweetness if desired

To Assemble and Chill
Step 5: Spoon the mousse evenly into four small serving glasses or jars
Step 6: Smooth the tops for a clean presentation
Step 7: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and set

To Serve
Step 8: Garnish each serving with a sliced strawberry and a fresh mint leaf
Step 9: Serve chilled for the best flavor and texture
Step 10: Store any leftovers in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 3 days
