Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- Optional: mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, or cooked sausage crumbles
- 1 egg + 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Divide dough into 8–10 equal balls. Roll each ball into a 6-inch circle.
- Place 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce, 2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella, and desired fillings on half of each dough circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling, press the edges together, and crimp with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops with egg wash. Place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
