Description
These rich and indulgent Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Brownies are layered with full-size peanut butter cups and topped with a fluffy peanut butter frosting. Perfect for peanut butter and chocolate lovers!

- 1 (18 oz) box brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on the box (usually eggs, water, oil)
- 15 full-size Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 ¼ cups confectioners sugar
- 4 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions.
- Spread about ⅔ of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Arrange 15 Reese’s Cups in a single layer over the batter and press them in slightly.
- Cover with the remaining brownie batter and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with only a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the brownies completely on a wire rack before frosting.
- In a large bowl, beat the peanut butter and butter together until smooth.
- Gradually add confectioners sugar, mixing well and scraping the bowl as needed.
- Add the heavy cream and vanilla extract. Mix until combined, then whip on medium-high speed for 2 minutes until fluffy.
- Lift the cooled brownies from the pan using the parchment paper and spread the frosting evenly on top.
- Slice and serve, optionally topped with chopped Reese’s or chocolate drizzle.
Notes
- Make sure the brownies are fully cooled before adding frosting to prevent melting.
- For extra texture and decoration, sprinkle chopped Reese’s or drizzle melted chocolate over the top.
- Use an electric mixer to ensure the frosting is fluffy and smooth.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
