Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Sliders:
    • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 12 king Hawaiian rolls
    • 6 slices cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
  • Optional Toppings:
    • Sautéed onions
    • Pickles or relish
    • Fresh lettuce
    • Tomato slices
    • Ketchup and mustard
    • BBQ sauce or sriracha (optional, for added flavor)
  • For Baking:
    • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ground Beef Mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
    • Mix gently to keep the meat tender, then shape the mixture into 12 small patties, about the size of the Hawaiian rolls.
  2. Cook the Patties:
    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Set aside on a plate.
  3. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
    • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally but keep the rolls connected. Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
    • Place one cooked patty on each roll. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty.
    • Add optional toppings like lettuce, tomato, or pickles if desired. Spread ketchup, mustard, or your favorite sauce for extra flavor.
    • Place the top half of the rolls on the sliders.
  4. Bake the Sliders:
    • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
    • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
    • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese melts and the tops are golden.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
    • Remove the sliders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
