Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 24 Oreo cookies (filling included)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 4 oz white chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes

For Garnish:

  • Additional crushed candy canes
  • Shaved dark or white chocolate
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
    • Mix the cookie crumbs with melted butter until evenly coated.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Use the back of a measuring cup to press it evenly. Refrigerate while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the Filling:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
    • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
    • Add the peppermint extract and melted white chocolate to the cream cheese mixture. Mix well.
    • Gently fold in the whipped cream until the filling is light and fluffy. Stir in the crushed candy canes for a festive crunch.
  3. Assemble the Pie:
    • Pour the peppermint filling into the chilled Oreo crust. Spread it evenly with a spatula.
    • Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  4. Decorate and Serve:
    • Before serving, garnish the pie with crushed candy canes, shaved chocolate, and swirls of whipped cream if desired.
    • Slice and enjoy your festive, no-bake peppermint pie!
