    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cobbler Base:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
    • Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract until the mixture is crumbly.
    • Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  2. Create the Snickerdoodle Topping:
    • In a separate bowl, mix the crushed snickerdoodle cookies, brown sugar, and melted butter. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the Cobbler:
    • Sprinkle the snickerdoodle topping evenly over the cobbler base.
    • In another bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the coating, then sprinkle it generously over the entire dish.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the cobbler is set.
    • Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
