- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces pasta (rotini, penne, or your favorite)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Ground Beef
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks.
- Drain any excess grease and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the Pasta
- While the beef is cooking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set it aside.
- Combine and Make the Sauce
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the ground beef.
- Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine.
- Sprinkle in the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Simmer and Serve
- Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
