Ingredients
- Cherry or Apple Pie Filling (21 oz can): Sweet, fruity base. Use cherry for tart flavor or apple for a spiced classic.
- Yellow Cake Mix (1 package): Forms a buttery, crumbly topping as it bakes.
- Butter (½ cup, melted): Binds the dry mix and adds rich flavor.
- Chopped Walnuts (â…“ cup, optional): Adds crunch and nutty depth.
Instructions
- Add the Filling:
- Spoon the pie filling into the bottom of a greased 1½-quart slow cooker.
- Make the Crumb Topping:
- In a bowl, mix yellow cake mix with melted butter until crumbly.
- Assemble:
- Sprinkle the crumbly cake mixture evenly over the pie filling.
