Description

These Peach Cheesecake Rolls combine juicy, spiced peaches and creamy cheesecake filling, wrapped in a crispy egg roll shell and coated in cinnamon sugar. A perfect handheld dessert that’s sweet, crunchy, and satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for peaches)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon water (if using cornstarch)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake filling)
  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar (3 tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp cinnamon)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Cook for 5–7 minutes until peaches are soft.
  2. If desired, mix cornstarch with water and add to the peach mixture. Cook for 1–2 more minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  4. Place an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape. Add 1 tablespoon of cheesecake filling and 1 tablespoon of peach filling to the center.
  5. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a little water.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry the rolls in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove and immediately roll the hot rolls in the cinnamon sugar to coat.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure oil is at the right temperature to avoid greasy rolls.
  • Let the peach filling cool completely before assembling to prevent wrappers from becoming soggy.
  • Use fresh, ripe peaches for best flavor, but canned peaches can work in a pinch (drained well).
  • Serve with whipped cream or ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
  • Best eaten the same day to maintain crispiness.
