Description

Smookies are ooey, gooey campfire-inspired cookies made with graham crackers, milk chocolate, marshmallows, and chocolate chip cookie dough. The ultimate treat that brings the campfire indoors—perfectly melty, sweet, and irresistibly indulgent!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 30 oz roll refrigerated Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 8 sheets graham crackers, broken in half to make 16 halves
  • 8 bars Hershey’s milk chocolate (1.55 oz each), cut in half
  • 16 marshmallows, halved

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Slice the cookie dough roll into 1/2-inch thick rounds, making about 16 cookie rounds.
  4. Cut the marshmallows in halves.
  5. Place 6–8 graham cracker halves on the baking sheet with space between them.
  6. Top each graham cracker with a half Hershey’s chocolate bar.
  7. Place two marshmallow halves, cut side down, on top of each chocolate bar.
  8. Cover each s’more with a cookie dough round.
  9. Bake for 16–19 minutes: 16–17 minutes for soft-baked or 18–19 minutes for crispier cookies.
  10. Allow the first batch to cool slightly before baking the second batch.

Notes

  • Line the pan well with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • For extra gooey centers, slightly underbake the cookies.
  • Let cookies cool for a few minutes to firm up before serving.
  • Use mini marshmallows if you prefer a smaller gooey layer.
  • Customize with dark chocolate or flavored marshmallows for variations.
